PageRank (PR) is an internal Google metric (0-10 scale) measuring a domain’s authority. PR was visible by end users of the net but has since been hidden and is now used internally.
Generally this is a result of the backlinks that a domain has. This can be a big determining factor in a website’s ability to rank for certain keywords.
