You can register an expired domain<\/a> through a normal registrar<\/a> once it has been released and is available again. Search for the exact name, check the registration and renewal costs, complete checkout and confirm that the domain is active in your account.<\/p>\n\n\n

The important part is that first condition. A domain described as<\/a> expired may still belong to its previous registrant, be offered at auction or be waiting for deletion.     Copy the full domain name<\/a> into your chosen registrar<\/a>’s search, including the extension. Check the exact match carefully: suggested alternatives, a different extension and an offer to contact the current owner are not the domain registration you came for.<\/p>\n\n\n

    A blank website, an error page or a past expiry date does not prove a domain can be registered.
