Registrar & DNS SOP — PBN Guide (Module 4)

Use this SOP to register domains cleanly, vary DNS/hosting, stand up a believable site, and let indexing happen naturally — while avoiding obvious patterns.

1) Pre‑registration Prep

Tracker columns: Domain • Registrar • NS provider • Host/IP/ASN • CMS/Theme • Analytics IDs • Notes.

2) Registration (WHOIS & Privacy)

ICANN requires accurate registrant data; privacy shields it. Don’t enter fake data.

3) DNS Setup (Nameservers & Records)

Nameservers

Records & Integrations

Example footprint to avoid: the same SES verification TXT on every domain.

4) Hosting Choices (Pros/Cons)

Shared Hosting
Cheap, simple; mixed neighbors; fine in rotation.
Cloud/Droplets
Clean IPs; scalable; risk of same platform footprint if overused.
VPS/Dedicated
Only if you know ops; can create a large, obvious footprint. Generally skip.
PBN Hosts
Spread across providers from one panel; strong diversity after ~5 domains; cost‑effective.

Aim for provider and ASN diversity; don’t standardize panels/CDNs across the whole network.

5) Hosting Setup & Basics

6) Content & Structure Options

Goal: unique look/feel per site; consistent topic relevance.

7) Recreate Popular Content via Backlink Tools

8) Index Hygiene (first 14–30 days)

Common Footprint Traps to Avoid

9) Quick Launch Flow (10 steps)

  1. Register with privacy (rotated registrar); unique contact email.
  2. Set varied nameservers; add A/AAAA + CNAME www.
  3. Optional: mailbox + SPF/DKIM/DMARC (don’t clone across sites).
  4. Install SSL; force https; set canonical.
  5. Install CMS or upload static; unique theme/structure.
  6. Create About/Contact/Privacy; publish 3–5 foundations.
  7. Rebuild top linked URLs from backlink exports.
  8. 301 the rest to closest relevant pages.
  9. Verify or create sitemap.xml file. Do not ping it
  10. Log details in tracker; drip content; revisit in 2 weeks.
